We went strawberry picking. The children were overjoyed ♡ to see so many of their favorite strawberries hanging on the plants, and they happily ate plenty of them. Some children even piled their trays high with strawberries, making us staff worry, “Will they be able to eat all of these?”… but they happily devoured their heaping portions time and time again without leaving a single one behind, which was a joy to watch for all of us too ☆ After strawberry picking, we played tea

The police officers used a display board to explain crime prevention using the mnemonic “Ika no Sushi,” and they used traffic lights and crosswalks to teach us about traffic safety, so we were able to learn with full concentration and have a lot of fun. They also taught us the proper way to cross at a crosswalk, and we were all able to cross very safely together♪ We were allowed to sit in the driver’s seat of a patrol car and ride on a police motorcycle, and we took lots of p

We made kashiwa-mochi for Children’s Day. We mixed shiratamako flour and water in a bowl, microwaved the mixture to make mochi, and wrapped red bean paste inside. They tapped the mochi flat, stuffed it with plenty of red bean paste, and looked absolutely delighted with their extra-large kashiwa-mochi! ♡

We played an “In and Out” game using hula hoop-shaped balloons☆ At the mini recital, students from every grade energetically performed two dance routines♪ Finally, in the study room, they walked through a tunnel made of carp streamers to get some jelly! We also took photos with the big carp streamers and everyone's smiling faces☆

This year, for the first time, we visited Misaki Park at Noevir Stadium Kobe and sketched many cherry trees in full bloom. In the afternoon, we made paper airplanes. The children had a great time flying their airplanes over and over again by attaching them to a rubber band. The parents also joined in the fun by experimenting with different wing angles and shapes to see how far they could fly them♪

We decorated Easter bunnies’ baskets and lots of flowers for the egg hunt, made flower crowns, and searched for eggs hidden on the lawn that had tags with our names on them. The younger children seemed to have a hard time finding the letters of their names, so the older children helped them out. We had fun painting the eggs we found! ☆

We held our graduation ceremony. The graduating children delivered both their English and Japanese speeches beautifully and with great enthusiasm. The children representing the current students also spoke clearly and loudly, without any signs of nervousness.

The children helped prepare lunch and start the fire, and ran around the campground playing. After lunch, they enjoyed playing color bingo and roasting marshmallows, and I think they really got to enjoy the great outdoors. We received a lot of help from the parents. Thank you very much☆

We played a game where we answered questions posed by Mr. James, collected flowers, and used them to decorate the dolls with colorful kimonos. After that, we danced and took photos with the dolls.

After answering the quiz questions, we chanted “Go away demons, fortune in!” and threw beans at the colorful, cute little demons. After driving the demons away, we put on tiger-print pants and danced energetically, having a wonderful time♪

We competed to see who could spin their Anpanman craft top the longest. We split into groups for the preliminaries, and the winners advanced to the finals!! At the “Ready, set, go!” signal, the child whose top spun the longest won a giant Anpanman gold medal. The other children received Anpanman medals as “You Tried Your Best” awards, and everyone looked very happy☆

The Bigkids children showed off their calligraphy skills, which they practice every week. Each child chose their favorite subject as their theme. Though they've only been learning calligraphy for less than a year, I was amazed at how skilled they all are. Every year, the Bigkids write the sign for the graduation ceremony in brush pen, so I'm looking forward to seeing this year's as well.

Santa Claus brought presents to our Christmas party. He was a very cheerful and fun Santa, but some children thought, “I want the present, but Santa is scary~!” They received their gifts while crying their eyes out, then hurriedly fled the scene☆ Naturally, their faces in the commemorative photos with Santa were in terrible shape ( *´艸｀)

We decorated candles with dried berries and other elements on a base of greenery like cedar and hiba. If you add water to the oasis, they should stay fresh until Christmas Day. Enjoy your candles this Christmas!

We decorated the wreath with pinecones and cotton using wire. The children seemed to like the little Santa hats, trying them on their own heads before attaching them to the wreath and showing us with expressions asking, “How's this?” and “Cute, right?” So adorable♡

Without hesitation, they dug away with shovels in soil they'd likely never touched before. As sweet potatoes came into view, their energy surged and they dug even harder. The potatoes they dug up were then used in a team competition for ‘Biggest’ and ‘Longest’. The winning team was thrilled to receive special Anpanman patches made by the staff! ☆ We sincerely thank all the parents who participated for their tremendous help.
