We made kashiwa-mochi for Children’s Day.
We mixed shiratamako flour and water in a bowl, microwaved the mixture to make mochi, and wrapped red bean paste inside.
They tapped the mochi flat, stuffed it with plenty of red bean paste, and looked absolutely delighted with their extra-large kashiwa-mochi! ♡
